District 7500 Holds Mid-Year Assembly

The Mid-Year Assembly was held on January 27th at the La Bove Grand in Lakehurst. It was a great night of education, speaches, and networking.

Karen Labenz attended the Pre-PETS workshop for 2014-15 before the Assembly started. Seven roundtable discussions were also available with topics such as membership growth, social media, and fundraising ideas.

The keynote address was given by John T. Capps from the Morehead City-Noon Club in North Carolina. If you've never had the chance to hear John speak, you are missing out! His talk, "Energizing Rotary Winners," was an inspirational call to arms. "We shouldn't be looking for new members... we need to look for new Rotarians," remarked John.
